Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on the Solorba websites is:

Solorba is a label of ganzinvest ag and not a separate company. Wherever this policy says "we" or "us", it always means ganzinvest ag.

Scope

This policy applies to the Solorba websites at https://solorba.com, including the pages of our titles. The apps themselves have their own privacy policies, which you will find on each title's page.

We process personal data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Hosting and server logs

Our websites are hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. (Larnaca, CY). When a page is opened, the web server processes technically necessary access data: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred and information about the browser and operating system. These logs are used only for secure and stable operation, are not combined with other data and are deleted automatically when the hosting provider’s retention period ends.

The hosting provider processes this data on our behalf. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and the corresponding provisions of the FADP).

No cookies, no analytics, no third-party content

• Our websites do not set cookies.
• We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
• We do not embed third-party content: no maps, videos, social media plugins or ads. Fonts are also loaded from our own server.
• Links to app stores lead to third-party services. Their privacy policies apply there.

Language choice

When you choose a language, your browser remembers the choice locally (in so-called local storage), so that you land directly in your language next time. This information is not transferred to us and can be deleted at any time in your browser settings.

Contact by e-mail or contact form

If you write to us at info@solorba.com or use a contact form, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry: name, e-mail address, topic and message, plus optional details such as your device, app version or school. The form transmits the details in encrypted form to our web server, which forwards them to us by e-mail. We use a service provider to send and receive e-mail, which processes the data on our behalf.

To prevent abuse, the form uses a short sum instead of a captcha service; no data is passed on to third parties. We also limit the number of messages per sender. For this, the web server stores your IP address only as an encrypted check value (hash) and deletes it after two hours at the latest.

The legal basis is answering your enquiry and our legitimate interest in doing so (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR and the corresponding provisions of the FADP).

We keep your enquiry and our reply for as long as is necessary to deal with it and any follow-up questions, or as long as we have a legitimate interest in doing so – for example, to keep track of our correspondence – and as far as statutory retention obligations apply. At your request, we delete your details unless a statutory retention obligation prevents this.

Disclosure

We do not sell data and do not pass it on for advertising. Personal data is only received by service providers who process it on our behalf, for example for hosting and e-mail. They are contractually bound to confidentiality.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict processing, to object, and to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time. Please contact us at the address above.

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Switzerland with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU with the authority in your country of residence.

As our websites develop, we will update this policy. The version published here, with the date shown above, applies.
